The drive from Dar to Mikumi will take 4-5 hours of driving, clients will arrive in Mikumi around 12h00 and straight to half day game drive, then later before 18h00 depart to the Tanswiss Lodge / Camp Bastian which is located 15 minutes out of the National Park. ITINERARY AND QUOTE
Day 1: Depart to Mikumi National Park & an Afternoon Game Drive
Pick you up at the hotel - Dar es Salaam early morning at around 6:00 am, and then drive for 5 - 6 hours to Mikumi, On arrival, get a hot lunch in one of the restaurant inside the park, then depart for an afternoon game drive until sunset. Back in the late evening for dinner, then check-in and spend the night at Tanswiss Lodge/Camp Bastian.
Mikumi National Park: During game drive at the park, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephants. You may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs. Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland and antelope.

Day 2: A Half Day Game Drive at Mikumi National Park & Depart to Zanzibar
After an early breakfat, go for a half day game drive across the enormous beautiful Mikumi National Park until noon. The Mkata flood plain is an attractive point of the park where you can easily spot a large number of animals including elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, wild dogs, and impala and spot a rich number of bird species.
At afternoon you will be transferred to the Airport where you will take your flight to Zanzibar Island. On arrival you will be Met and greet by our guide and driver at Zanzibar Airport. Our representative would be holding a name card for you for easy identification and transfer to the Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort which is located on the East Coast of Zanzibar.

Day 3: Stone Town City Tour + Zanzibar Spice Tour + Prison Island Boat Trip
Morning after breakfat pick-up from Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort for the Spice Tour on this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits and another interesting flora can be seen during spice tour and if you will have a time, you will visit Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (Grand daughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia).
After Spice Tour we'll head to Stone Town one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Cultural Arts Centre of East Africa. You will have the Stone Town City Tour takes around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center).
After the Lunch, you will have a trip to Prison Island Boat Trip,Visit Lloyd Mathew's Architecture built in 1893 and the Island is a home of Aldabra Giant Tortoises. Flanged by an amazing beach of reef sanctuary, the island is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and beach relaxation. After tours, you will be dropped off at Diamonds La Gemma Dell’Est for dinner and overnight.
